That said, if you’re just looking for a simple enhancement to the game’s graphics, the Minecraft HD resource pack is perfect. Basically, the increased resolution allows for more details to go into every block, from simple wooden planks to the rare and elusive beacon item. This particular Minecraft HD resource pack by ShadowTime1290 features a boosted resolution of 64x, which alone puts it well ahead of most of the other HD vanilla packs you will find. To be honest, there are many different high definition resource packs out there which seem to emulate the look of vanilla Minecraft while making the game look better with significantly improved textures or other slight, but noticeable changes.
